Pentecostal

On the Day of Pentecost the promised Holy Spirit was poured out upon the disciples of Jesus Christ, thereby “empowering” them to be “witnesses” to Jesus. The Holy Spirit baptised those disciples into Christ - into His body, the Church (Congregation). That same day a further 3,000 believers were “added to the Church”, and shortly after another 5,000, and so the Church continued to grow as of today

Pentecostals believe that a Christian is a person who has been baptised by Jesus Christ into the body of Christ - “the Church which is His body”.
Matthew 3:11, Mark 1:8, Luke 3:16, John 1:33, Acts 1:5, 2:4.

Pentecostals also believe in the ministry of the Spirit and gifts of the Holy Spirit in the context of the body of Christ. Romans 12:6-8, Ephesians 4:8-13. I Corinthians Chapter 14.
