Here is a list of question we should ask ourselves*

A. Questions to be asked of those just started on the Christian way.

1. Have I the forgiveness of sins?
2. Have I peace with God?
3. Have I the witness of the Spirit?
4. How is my relationship with your neighbour?
5. Have I a love for spiritual things?

B. Questions to be asked of those who have been professing Christians for a time.

1. Am I walking in the light God shines on my way?
2. Am I experiencing the conviction for entire sanctification?
3. Am I progressing in my walk with God?
4. Is there progress in my field of labour?
5. Have I desire for a fuller fellowship with the Saviour?

C. Questions to be asked of those who are increasing in the love and knowledge of the Lord or at least should be.

1. Is my holiness increasing?
2. Have I an increase in mercy, compassion, humbleness of mind?
3. Do I have an increase in faith and labour of love?
